Atlantic City With Kids.
We're looking into going to Atlantic City at the end of June, atlantic city casino kids, but we have young children. We brought them with us to Atlantic City last summer, on a spur of the casino da vinci poker chips review trip, and what ended up happening was my husband dropped me off at the casinos and ikds the boys back to the hotel and I had to call him when I was out of money so he could come pick me up.
As you can guess, that wasn't fun And since he wasn't with me, I had no self control and ran out of money in just 45 minutes! This time I was thinking maybe I could check on here to see if anyone knows if there are casinos that allow children they are 3 and 5 in them with parents during any time of the day.
I was told that some casinos on Vegas allow this, so I was thinking maybe the same can be said for Atlantic City. Gambling prohibitions husband and I both love the casinos, and as I said, without him, I have no self control and end up out of money in no time, so it would be fity city if there was some way we could go to the casinos together, kids in tow.
I really don't think Atlantic City is the place to go with children, especially if you like the casinos, like we do But we don't have anyone willing to babysit them for us so we can go! Oh yeah, can anyone recommend a family friendly hotel with and without a casino attached! Well, I appreciate all of your replies, but I actually allowed myself to be made to feel guilty by tubman's initial response. We are now reconsidering, and jids into more kid friendly locations.
Maybe when the boys are teenagers we can look into taking a grown up vacation! Also, I appreciate your apology. I honestly didn't expect to have some respond like that to my question. It was pretty harsh and offensive, considering you don't know me, or my situation! I really didn't mean to make judgements. I think your "best bet" is to go to one of the nearby family-oriented beach towns Ocean City for oneget a bigger room, and bring a babysitter along--your regular youthful atlantic city, if you have one, would probably jump at the chance for a working beach vacation.
Or the kids' grandparent s if that's an option. Someone to help you watch the kids on the beach in the daytime and give you a few hours to cut loose every night. If it doesn't work out with a babysitter, at least you'll be close enough to AC to have some fun individually if you so choose. This is due to seeing especially in Vegas parents with kids children wandering the strip at 1am, kids children crying in strollers, children exposed to the very smoky environment of casinos even if only to walk to and from the room.
I also hate that kind of stuff and seethe kids I see parents doing this to their kids. But, if you want to go to AC and your husband and yourself are willing to take turns with the kids or bring a babysitter, go and have fun. I actually think AC is more suitable for children casnio Vegas. There isn't the porn slapper aspect, nor are there large billboards everywhere with half naked women. And there IS the beach. Yea, there are better beaches. But when you are 3 and 5 years old, who cares?
Some people and this is not directed at you Tubman or anyone else who has posted here seem to think once someone has children they no kids get to do things that they too can enjoy. I don't think that's true. You deserve to do things you want on your vacation as well, as long as it is not detrimental to them. You are trying to raise healthy kids who can deal with some compromise in their lives. I would consider perfectly acceptable.
I'm sure to you they are not acceptable either. But many people here have seen casino kids behavior too many times to count. And that kkids why you got such an a sharp initial comment. If you are prepared to balance your activities and your finger lakes casino activities, I think you can go to AC as a family and have fun.
Hi Sunmaide - to echo the other posts, none of the casinos is kid friendly in the sense that children are not allowed on the gaming floor at all. Some are even less kid friendly. In Bally's kids under 21 cannot eat in many of the restaurants if accessing them through the casino floor. All of the casino hotels can arrange for in room babysitting by bonded and qualified people.
I have no idea what this costs - but nothing in the casinos is cheap. If you are staying in a non-casino hotel I don't know that cityy service is readily available. The Showboat and Taj Mahal are nearest to the boardwalk rides if your kids like those. Taj has an arcade but your kids might be too young for that. Most of the casino hotels have Nintendo in room for an extra charge.
I have to disagree with you about AC being more kid friendly than LV. Off the top of my head I can think of Circus Circus the Adventuredome?? There is also a large arcade, a circus act going on I do agree with you that it's a sad sight to see any parent dragging atlqntic their children at 1am, and I have seen that kids both LV and AC.
Well, we actually would never drag our children around the casinos at 1 AM! Even when we go on our own we are usually back in our hotel room by 10, at the latest. The only time I ever casino kids to AC and stayed in the casinos late was when I went there for my 21st birthday [6 years ago]. And, Zoke2, yes, we are very familiar with Knoebels. We go there at least once every summer! Both my husband's and my company picnics are held there each year.
Thanks for the suggestion though! I'm trying to do the same thing kid we speak. I wanted to go in July and I can't find one drop-in day care center or a hotel that has childcare in Atlantic City. I just don't think its available in that city. Its so frustratring isn't it, because I think its such a fun city for kids!
All the Atlantic Hotels will provide you with the name of an in-room sitter Service. But I kidss do that to kids considering new frontier casino las vegas state of the world today! Someone suggested bringing your own sittergreat idea if you can. And how would you like to be stuck in a room while the kids went to the beach?
My favorite trips as a child were to Wildwood crest-WE would go with casino vote sedgwick county other families and it was the best time! I have not been there in almost 20 yrs but they have a great beach, great boardwalk with rides at night--places to go on water kkds and nice restaurants at night--I know I'm probably prejudice being from NJ but I love the Jersey Shore and I've been all over the world and I'm still nostalgic for those family trips!
Does anyone have any recollection of a atlantiv King Kong that used to be on the Beach near the rides in Wild Wood--I feel like it is a memory that I had but wanted to know if anyone recalls this-- Probably would have been in the mid-late 70's to early 80's.
